TIGI Bed Head Recovery Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Since being on holiday, my hair has been insanely dry! I hated the way it looked and felt and just... bleugh! So I looked into some shampoo's and conditioners that would be able to help my wispy ends and I came across these!

I got these in a duo pack called Recovery, they are both 750ml each which will definitely last me a long time. I remember my old hairdressers having this brand of hair care, and always remember my hair feeling amazing afterwards so I thought I would give it a try!

After one wash with this stuff, my hair instantly felt so smooth and healthy. The ends are still not perfect but my roots definitely are! If you're a person that washes their hair in the morning then you need to smell this stuff, it has such a refreshing and uplifting smell that every morning I have the urge to wash my hair.

My hair feels shinier, as well as I have noticed that it doesn't gutted knotted as easily! As I live by the coast, its always very windy so my hair will be in mattes! But after using this stuff and the use of my trusty tangle teezer, I feel like I'm on a hair care advert!

If you're one of those people like me who are a bit OCD about having the same shampoo and conditioner, then the duo packs would be perfect, and they also work out being better value!

Overall, I love the TIGI brand and especially am in love with this duo! They also do many other different duo's as well to cater for everyones hair needs. I picked mine up from allbeauty.com where you can find a lot of the TIGI products.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and see you next time!

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Soufflé Body Crème Review

Good Evening!

I've been looking for a new daily moisturiser for a while now, but kept going back to Laura Mercier. At first I thought "oooo way too much money for a moisturiser..." but I couldn't resist. It was payday! - thats my excuse.

The texture of the cream is gorgeous, light and not too oily. It goes onto the skin nicely and leaves it feeling amazing the next morning!

I love love LOVE the smell of this stuff! Can never go wrong with a vanilla scent! I find that with some moisturisers, the smell can come off a bit strong and perfume-y but it has such a light refreshing scent, you can't go wrong!

I am ashamed to say that I do judge products by its packaging, never judge a book by its cover, I know but its just so pretty! A sophisticated glass pot with a classy but understated label drew me in instantly.

Overall, I am pleased with this purchase! I use it every day and it looks like its going to last a long time! Leaves my skin feeling like a babies bottom! I highly recommend!

(sorry for the absolutely rubbish camera quality, my camera is broken and am currently saving for a new one, enjoy!)

Gossip Girl, XOXO

Unfortunately, I was very late on the band wagon with this particular series, but am I glad that I came to watching it, and no I am not ashamed that I managed to watch it in a very short period of time.

My favourite thing about this particular series is the fashion, as the setting on the show is between the years of 2007-2012, the uprise of the trends and accessories was just as interesting as the hooking storyline! The Upper East Side bunch were extremely known for showing at many events and parties, god knows how many gowns were showcased in total! I advise everyone and anyone to watch!

Typically, my favourite character of the series was of course the charming Blair Waldorf, her poised but spiteful personality teamed with some amazing outfits kept me forever entertained. One gown in particular stuck in my mind, the beautiful orange Oscar De La Renta Pre-Fall 2010 gown matched with Oscar De La Renta heels. Gorgeous!

Another beautiful look that has forever stuck in my mind was the beautiful grey lace dress by Zuhair Murad worn by Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively), Serena was particular known for wearing very revealing clothing but this dress is simply glamour all over! Love!

Chuck Bass, the man. For those of you who don't know, Chuck Bass was the charmer of the series who stole my heart from series 2 (series 1, I wasn't so keen). He always graced us with his presence in a range of sleek tuxedos and suits. I'm most definitely a fan of the matching braces and socks!

Jenny Humphry (Taylor Momsen) was a weird one. I wasn't quite sure whether the show changed her appearance or she changed herself but one thing I always admired about her was her sense of fashion and her figure. Tight trousers, to-die-for heels and smokey makeup, not forgetting the red lip! I admire you little J!

May Best Dressed 2014

What can I say, I have no excuse for not posting in a while, other than the fact I have been drowning in college work. I will try my best to keep up a weekly post, but as its now June, I thought we could begin a fresh start (as I have finally finished all of my exams!). So I thought I would start with May's best dressed! There were many events in May such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Met Ball and also Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, hosting a dinner in honour of the work of The Royal Marsden (A cancer charity) all of which had some amazing outfits and some not-so-amazing outfits!

Emma Watson
The Royal Marsden Dinner
May 15th 2014
As always, the sweet Emma Watson looked stunning in a white shirt and full length grey skirt both from the Ralph Lauren collection (who also attended the dinner!) which were paired with Monica Vinader rings and a Roger Vivier clutch. The contrast in colour worked well with the bright red lip and smokey eyes. Perfect for a dinner with the royals, Emma looked sophisticated but fun with her open collar and V neck line, with the thin leather belt tying the outfit all together. Bravo!

Cate Blanchett
The Royal Marsden Dinner
May 15th 2014
Another stunning gown from The Royal Marsden dinner, worn by Cate Blanchett. Here she wears a pure white, one shoulder gown by the Ralph Lauren Collection which were accessorised with heels and jewels also by the Ralph Lauren Collection. Again perfect for a dinner date with the royals, the sleek shape of the gown outlining her perfect figure, matching the sophistication with a perfect up-do! Wouldn't want to take the attention away from the gorgeous drop earrings and the sheer simplicity of the gown. Stunning!

Blake Lively
Cannes Film Festival 2014
14-25th May 2014
Well lets all talk about Blake Lively. Gorgeous! I don't know about you guys but recently I feel like she's been everywhere, and so she should be!! 4 beautiful dresses were worn by her at the famous film festival this month, all very unique but equally amazing. My favourites would have to be the Gucci Premiere black and white silk crepe strapless gown and the Giambattista Valli Couture Dress (third image) worn with Stuart Wietzman heels. From red carpet to street fashion, Blake looked stunning in all 4 of her outfits, and her hair! to die for! Why can't we all have tanned skin, healthy blind locks and a perfect smile like Blake!

Lily Aldridge
Met Ball 2014
May 4th 2014
Wow! Lily Aldridge looked stunning in this metallic Michael Kors gown! The colour and shape of the dress suit her so well and paired with simple makeup, beautiful! She carried a clutch Salvator Ferragamo which looked lovely alongside the dress. The shape compliments her figure and her ever so amazing bone structure (jealous!) The wrap around design compliments the simplicity of her hair and makeup. With this dress, smokey eye NO. You did well Lily!

Well I hope you guys have enjoyed my opinions on who I thought was best dressed this month! Im sorry again for being lazy with posting! A-levels are slowly becoming the death of me! Goodbye!
