A Day in Wonderland

So, I've nearly finished Unit 1 of my photography course, thank god! I decided I was going to share one of the shoots I did recently with you all. My project is broadly based on fairytales and people in a theatrical setting. So I'm sure you have guessed by the title that this shoot was  based on Alice in Wonderland. One of my favourite fairytales. It was the perfect day to shoot outside, slightly overcast and windy. Many of my photo's came out very light because the sun kept deciding to creep it's way out! Which meant I didn't have many good photo's! But you know what they always say: Quality not Quantity eh!

'Alice Reading'
I particularly like this photo. I think the lighting is perfect and the wind came at the perfect time! I blurred the edges to create a fantasy atmosphere.

'Drink Me'
Found this little pocket watch in a bag of some of my Grandad's old things. Thought it would work perfectly with this theme. I thought it came out rather nicely!

So, now you've all had an insight into what I love doing and my garden! I hoped you liked my first official blog post! There is many more to come! Ciao for now.
2.1.14

Hello!

Welcome to my blog!

I have been planning on writing a blog for some time now and it has been my new years resolution to get on with it! After finishing secondary school and starting college I thought it would be the perfect time to start a new hobby. I'm 16 living in East Sussex, I am in the middle of studying my A levels and am an aspiring photographer! I will be sharing many of my projects with you but my posts will be broadly based on my lifestyle too.

You will soon realise that I am in love with my cat. I am a beauty and fashion fanatic! I love collecting make up and keeping up with the latest trends. Unfortunately, 2013 wasn't the best year for me but I plan to make 2014 a good one! I have got so many things planned and I can't wait to share them with you all!

Enjoy!
